Small Business Branding Photography in Charlotte, NC

I’ve said it many times before, but I will say it again. One of the BEST things about being a professional photographer is the number of amazing people I have meet through this job.

One of those people is Sabrina. She is also a Charlotte, NC family and personal branding photographer and can be found at SabrinaJill Photography.

Sabrina and I met online in a photography forum and instantly connected. Then, because sometime being a solo- business owner can be lonely, we started meeting up for coffee occasionally. We connected over all things photography (and so many other things we have found we have in common.. like when she describes her daughter, who is the same age as my daughter, I often think that they must be the exact same person. 🤣).

Anyway, when Sabrina was in need to new branding photos, she connected with me to help her out.

I was so pumped to be taking photos for Sabrina. Not only do I consider her an awesome person, but she is also an amazing photographer (Y’all just check out her WORK !!), so I was happy she asked me….

Sabrina knows that a personal branding and headshot session with me is not about uptight, stiff, corporate headshots. Instead, it is about a variety of photos that speak to the individual as a person and also to the heart of her business. Before her shoot began, we connected to discuss exactly what she was looking to get out of her session and the whole vibe and personality that she wanted her photos to exude. Sabrina is all about things being relaxed, natural, candid, fun, and colorful so we really wanted the photos that I took of her to reflect that. I think we nailed it!

Check out that #Charlotte sign!!

We were able to get shoots of Sabrina, in several different outfits as well as in several different locations both indoor and out. Because the session was careful planned, we were able to maximize her photos to give her the largest variety possibly. Now, when she uses her photos on her website or in social media, it doesn’t look like all of her photos were taken at one time. She really has a large variety of outfits, backgrounds, and poses to pull from to suit her needs.

Growing a small business these days isn’t just about having a great product or service. The reality is that you have to introduce yourself to potential clients and have them feel comfortable and connect with you before they even consider becoming a client. Sabrina knows this and that these shots from her sessions will help her potential clients get to know her and her personality before they have even meet her!

Getting your own personal branding photos that are professional and ooze personality are so important for your small business. You can check out more about a personal branding and headshot session with me below.
